Baljaffray Primary School Raises Funds for DEC Ukraine Appeal

That the Parliament congratulates and commends the pupils and staff of Baljaffray Primary School on raising £11,000 for the DEC Ukraine Emergency Appeal by completing laps of the school football pitch over the course of two weeks, walking a total of 2,000 miles, covering the distance between Bearsden and Kyiv; understands that pupils were sponsored by family and friends and that the funds raised were further added to by the PTA, and thanks all at Baljaffray Primary School for this practical demonstration of solidarity with the people of Ukraine.
