National Lottery Community Fund Award to Island of Hoy Development Trust

That the Parliament congratulates the Island of Hoy Development Trust in Orkney on being awarded £52,688 to build a local community hub from the National Lottery Community Fund; recognises that the charity was set up in 2007 to enhance social, education, economic and environmental factors on the island; acknowledges that the Trust already provides a community bus service to the island; celebrates that this funding will go towards projects that aim to improve health and wellbeing, tackle isolation and enhance socioeconomic opportunities, and commends community trusts across Scotland in their efforts to provide services to communities that would not otherwise be available.
