That the Parliament welcomes SSE, which has its headquarters in Perth, announcing that it will invest £15 billion in Scotland to help deliver the country’s net zero ambitions; notes that this is part of an overall £25 billion investment in low-carbon infrastructure across the UK; further notes that SSE employs 11,000 people in Scotland, including its workforce in Perth; understands that this contributes an estimated £2 billion to Scotland's economy, and wishes SSE all the best for the future.
