Dollar Community Development Trust Receives £10,000 of National Lottery Funding

That the Parliament welcomes the news that Dollar Community Development Trust has been awarded £10,000 by the National Lottery Awards for All Scotland programme; understands that the group will use the funding to carry out preliminary works in relation to a proposed large-scale community growing project in the town; notes that the National Lottery Awards for All Scotland programme gives groups a chance to apply for a grant of between £300 and £10,000 for projects that aim to help improve local communities and the lives of people most in need; further notes that the programme also awards grants to community, arts and sports groups on behalf of the National Lottery and sportscotland, and wishes everyone involved all the very best in their endeavours.
