That the Parliament commends Home-Start Clackmannanshire on being awarded £148,746 by the National Lottery Community Fund’s Medium Grants Scotland: Improving Lives programme; believes that the group will use the funding to continue to provide direct support to families with a child up to 12 years of age who are experiencing difficulties; understands that the project will enable parents to establish the skills required to live without the support of external services and reduce the number of children locally who are taken into care, and congratulates everyone involved on their sterling work.
