Dunbar Debt Advice Service

That the Parliament congratulates volunteers from St Anne’s Scottish Episcopal and Methodist Church, and the Salvation Army, for the successful launch of the Dunbar Debt Advice Service, which provides free, confidential and impartial advice regarding money worries to residents of Dunbar and the surrounding area; understands that the service is run entirely by volunteers; further understands that over 30 referrals have been received since lockdown from people from varied backgrounds; applauds the efforts of volunteers to establish and grow the service in the challenging circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, and wishes Dunbar Debt Advice Service every success as it continues to grow to meet the needs of local people.
