Orkney Crowned Champions of Scottish Hockey Women's District Cup

That the Parliament congratulates Orkney Hockey, who it understands retained their status as Women’s District Cup champions in a 3-1 victory over Edinburgh Cala 3s at Peffermill on 15 May 2022; commends Orkney captain, Inga Kemp, coaches, Graham and Ali Johnston and the whole squad on their outstanding achievement; understands that the club is now looking forward to the annual inter-county match against Shetland in June 2022; thanks all the supporters of Orkney Hockey, including a host of over 20 local businesses, and wishes the squad all the very best for future success, starting with the game against their Northern Isles rivals.
