Sean Gordon's Epic Mental Health Awareness Ride Out

  • Submitted by: Clare Adamson, Motherwell and Wishaw, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Friday, 13 May 2022
  • Motion reference: S6M-04378

That the Parliament applauds Sean Gordon, an avid Motherwell Football supporter, for raising mental health awareness and fundraising for the charity, Tiny Changes; understands that Sean will ride 500 miles in five days, visiting all the Scottish Premiership Football Grounds, to celebrate the life of his dad, who tragically died in 2014; further understands that Sean will be making a poignant stop at Motherwell FC Stadium, which he holds dear to his heart, with memories of his dad; acknowledges that the charity, Tiny Changes, was established in the memory of Scott Hutchison, of Scottish band, Frightened Rabbit, to support people and projects that positively impact young people’s mental health across Scotland; commends Sean and Tiny Changes for their efforts towards suicide prevention and supporting people with mental health issues, and wishes them well for the future.
