S.M.I.L.E. Counselling Shortlisted for Charity of the Year

That the Parliament commends S.M.I.L.E. Counselling on being shortlisted in the Charity of the Year category in the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) Scottish Charity Awards 2022; understands that SCVO, which is the national membership organisation for the voluntary sector, aims to support, promote and develop a confident, sustainable voluntary sector in Scotland; further understands that S.M.I.L.E. is a West Lothian-based, Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) delivering a bespoke outreach counselling service to young people when they need it most; believes that the contributions by the organisation have been invaluable to young people in West Lothian, and congratulates the team at S.M.I.L.E. on their achievement in being shortlisted.
