Edinburgh Remakery Wins Queen’s Award for Enterprise

That the Parliament congratulates Edinburgh Remakery on being awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for excellence in Sustainable Development; understands that Edinburgh Remakery is a social enterprise, which helps people to repair and reuse materials and items, such as electronic goods, to extend their life and reduce waste, pollution and carbon emissions; recognises its role as a resource for teaching techniques to repair and reuse such items; welcomes what it sees as a social enterprise leading the way in the transition to a circular economy; notes that Edinburgh Remakery has donated electronic goods to people in need across Edinburgh to help combat digital poverty and social isolation; congratulates all involved in Edinburgh Remakery on their hard work, and wishes them all the best for the future.
