That the Parliament commends the Glasgow Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) Campaign involving, Bridgeton, Castlemilk, Central, Drumchapel, Easterhouse, Glasgow North West, Greater Pollok and Parkhead CABs, which is designed to show the impact of their work; understands that the eight Glasgow CABs are unique, community-based organisations, which are working in partnership to provide a Glasgow-wide service to represent and support Glasgow’s diverse communities, and further understands that, in 2021, over 105,000 client issues were dealt with, supporting over 20,000 people, including crisis prevention for over 3,200 people, and that 5,550 people living in poverty were supported, with 66% of clients from diverse communities, which, it understands, resulted in a reported £14.4 million confirmed gains for Glasgow communities last year.
