YouthLink Scotland and Children and Young People’s Commissioner, Joint Call on Access to Youth Work Services

That the Parliament acknowledges the joint call made by YouthLink Scotland and the Children and Young People’s Commissioner which, it understands, addresses the reported lack of access to community and school facilities for crucial youth work services; calls for the situation to be remedied, and believes that support for the opening of community and school facilities for youth work is imperative to aiding the educational, health and wellbeing, and life chances of young people across Scotland, as the country recovers from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
